Madeleine is trained to use a wide variety of psychometric tools and she has considerable experience of designing bespoke work simulation exercises.
Madeleine has worked within local government, NDPBs, charitable organisations and higher education, as well as with leading household names in the private sector, giving her a broad range of experience to share with her clients. In particular, she has in-depth knowledge of the NHS, having worked extensively within the sector. Her work here has included designing and running assessment processes to support whole directorate restructures within primary care settings, to give her clients a fair and rigorous way to make decisions about placing staff into new roles. She has also supported directors of new provider services units with the appointment of their senior teams, using an assessment based around the NHS LQF to enable them to identify candidates' leadership qualities. Most recently, Madeleine led on the design and delivery of a personal development project for over 40 Associate Directors within primary care, which involved one to one assessments and developmental feedback to enable individuals to develop the leadership skills required to deliver World Class Commissioning. Madeleine contributes regularly to the Health Service Journal. She is particularly interested in how the changes within the NHS are going to impact upon organisational culture and people's behaviour. A graduate of the University of Manchester, Madeleine has a First Class Honours degree in Psychology and an MSc in Occupational Psychology.
