Our Leadership Assessment Package

GatenbySanderson’s leadership assessment package offers our clients a thorough, robust yet practical way of identifying an individual’s leadership skills and qualities. We know that your time and your senior leaders’ time is precious, therefore we have devised a process that gathers the information you will need, without placing unrealistic demands on people and the organisation.
We have designed the package in a way that has maximum flexibility. If it is appropriate for your needs, great. If not, it can be adapted, or we can develop an entirely different process but base it on the same underlying principles.

We have devised a package of tools that measures each of these aspects. 

Key features:

  • The assessment package measures the three main clusters of the NHS Leadership Qualities Framework
  • Clients can identify the key qualities from within each cluster that apply to their precise needs
  • Alternatively, we can work with you to prepare your own set of leadership qualities and we will adapt the assessment to suit
  • The package consists of a range of personality, style and ability profiling tools, accompanied by an in-depth interview with an occupational psychologist. All of the instruments can be completed online at the participant’s convenience
  • We have recommended a suite of tools, but we can work within your preferences and established standards too
  • Add-ons to the package are available and can be tailored specifically to the organisation for its exclusive use. They include strategic case study exercises, role-plays, written analysis exercises, presentations and in-trays. Additionally, we can build in 360-degree feedback and a professional knowledge-based or ‘technical’ assessment
  • Its emphasis and the precise aspects of leadership it measures can be adjusted to suit the organisational challenge it is helping to address. The tabs on the left hand side of the page illustrate some of the situations in which our clients use our leadership assessment expertise.
